What a fantastic couple of days. My quill is still trembling with excitement. So much to learn. The historic Red Cone was the perfect place to immerse ourselves in the art of glass blowing. Immense thanks to Master glassblower Layne Rowe, for sharing not just his incredible skill but also a bit of his magic. A pure delight with quills sharp enough to scribe a masterpiece! Special thanks to Elliott Walker and Bethany of Blowfish Glass for being superb hosts. Can't wait to do it all again ...and craft a feather that would make a phoenix jealous! Or, perhaps a grenade?

As usual, Beth made us feel right at home. Katie is an incredibly skilled teacher, and Layne Rowe was fantastic—showing us the process of his art in and out and sharing many tips from his extensive career with us. I'm sure I'll be booking another master class with Blowfish, Beth, Katie, and Elliot soon. If Layne offers another master class, I really suggest you take the opportunity!
